And SWIFTLY. So far this is just what I was needing. By time I stopped last night, I kinda didn't want to... I wanted to keep working on it!  Of course, I had to get supper fixed and get ready for bed but I take that as a good sign.

It's always good when that happens.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That and when you look at your watch and wonder "where that 3 hours went"

Good stuff, mate! Looks like it's giving you the mojo boost you needed.

Damn straight. I'm giving it a break but am looking forward to getting back to it. It won't be long. I have to wrap up the house reorganizing but I'm pretty much done with that so I'll be working on this again very soon. Having a lot of fun with this weird little thing, though, and you're right.... just what I needed. It's challenging enough to give me "something to do" while I build it but not so difficult as to cause anxiety and confusion. It's little bear's porridge.

Glad to hear that  And I have to remember the phrase "little bear's porridge"  ;D

Brad, I have East German Roundels in the stash, I can send them your way I may even have small scale ones. Send me a PM and we'll discuss it further.

Brilliant, hoss, thank you! Let me look around and see if I have any over here that will work first and if not I'll definitely be wanting to take you up. I keep spacing on this like an idiot...  I'll get into my decals stash this afternoon and see what the score is.

In other news.... glued the fuselage together last night but the tail end didn't want to come together. Not sure what happened....  I had to snap half of it off and I'll blue it back on today. I think maybe the floor inside is a bit too wide and is what caused this but it's academic at this point. Once I get the fuselage fixed I have a couple engine doors to glue on then I can probably go ahead and glue on the main wings and get underway with PSR!

Success!!  Q'pla!  I found the roundels I need and they fit. Happenstance.... I found 2 little ones and 4 large ones which is exactly what I need. Fantastic.   Hang on to the ones you have and thanks again!

Progress.... I'm getting the nose gear ready for paint and have glued the piece I had to snap off back onto the fuselage. I finished closing it up (I forgot that the belly still was gapped) and even did some sanding of seams. Next phase is to put the engine in and throw the cowlings on. I'll also use some sprue goo that I made recently to finish off the seams. I'll probably glue on the wings at that point but I need to "mask" the interior which I plan to do via an idea I had of cutting a finger out of a glove and shoving it inside, inflating it, then tying it off. This will expand to the point of bulging out of the windows just enough to keep paint out of the interior... when I'm done.. pop a hole in it and pull it out. At least... that's the plan. Should work if it holds air!

Anyway... here it is. It reminds me of my "reverse" clothes pins:

What?  :-\

Has your keyboard got the jitters again Fred?

That's one WIERD looking aeroplane Brad, but you're getting on fine with it.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks! It is quite strange...    even the inside is weird... the floor sits tilted backward a bit so it would seem it flies at a sort of nose down attitude or something....  excellent visibility!

Man I had no idea Klingons had a word for "Soviet!"  ;D

If you think that's weird, you should read Shakespeare, in the original Klingonese. Lol!
