For some obscure reason, probably lockdown connected, I managed to miss this one entirely Chris, so sorry. :(

But it's a brilliant idea, and works very well.  :thumbsup:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I'm sure that there is a backstory just waiting to be written.  I will enjoy reading it!

Added a few minutes later.........I have found Dizzy's  GR1  thread.............and YES!!, it was a backstory worth reading.
