I have just remembered I do have some 1/72 white metal scantily clad young ladies by Elheim Figures in my stash.  So they may well put in an appearance...

Flesh colours ? By far the most difficult part of figure painting, but the research could be fun in this case. "Honestly love, I was just trying to get the muscular tones right" 

One of them is a dominatrix (is there a large demand for them in war gaming?) so more shiny black than flesh...

Not when I was actively wargaming, no. You'd have probably got arrested for the sheer mention of the word  Mind you the majority of people would have denied even knowing what the word meant

When I was a wargamer downunder, they all knew what it meant and many wished they could partake in the practice...

Having figured what I'm going to build for this GB (and it's going to be BIG (-ish)) I ensured that I bought the required kits for the job, three of them, with me when I headed back to Northants y'day. I'd not even had time to check my plans would work before I left home, and so I've just started cutting off various bits and figuring out how much 'cutting & shutting' I'm going to have to do to build it.

Naturally it'll have longer wings  so I checked the wing chord of two of the donor kits to see how much trimming I'd need.

The wing chords of the two models are IDENTICAL! 

Even the thickness is close so I won't have much padding to add top and bottom.

Don't you just LOVE it when a plan comes together?

Yes. And other problems can surely be mended with a saw and some putty.

Hmmm, the "Captured" theme does not really ring the bells here, but I have found two projects on my idea list that are worth submitting in this GB - an aircraft (very close to reality, though) and a tank (almost a "whif-out-of-the-box", just with the original/real story spun further). We'll see...

They were never painted in Finnish colours, and probably not flown either here, so still a whiff, if only by a narrow margin

King cobra?  Airabonita?     Or, given that the Soviet  forces were using Airacobras as late as 1949 in the Archangelsk area, how about  a defector to Norway?

Yep, a Lend-Lease Soviet P-63 could be an option, or a USAAF P-38 from UK landing?

I've come across a 1/72 Hasegawa Kawanishi Type-97 Flying Boat H6K5 Mavis,  there's some parts missing so the RAF could have captured it after a crash landing and made a few repairs to it to get it in fly worthy condition.
