Thanks, gents! :icon_alabanza:

Next steps taken. Pic's for your perusal:

Much more work to be done, yet, but, while I wait for putty to dry during the PSR sessions, I can start putting the engine together.

Once again: Thanks for watching!

Looking good.  Nothing a spot of PSR won't fix.

The cockpit of the SH 1/72 kit I got yesterday looks quite nice, I just hope it builds better ?...

If it's anything like the SH 1/72 Wirraway (the two aircraft are after all related) then it'll be as "challenging" as this one.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I can see a LOT of PSR in your future Womby!  :o

1st round of putty on the fuselage join ... Well, the 2nd, really, as I closed the gaps up with liquid styrene which, once fully out-gassed, should make a stronger join between the parts.

Momentum continues!

Ah, cheers....I think

Hull gap was filled with;

1. Liquid styrene,
2. Aves Apoxy Sculpt,
3. Tamiya white putty, &
4. Perfect Plastic Putty.

That was done last night, some time before 0300hrs, my time.

Then, tonight whilst I was having dinner, the model fell from the desk onto the floor & cracked not the fuselage join but the (I thought) much stronger tail join, which I filled with CA glue.

Anyway, I shot a coat of primer over it & there are still a few rough patches but here are the progress shots ... well ... because:

Thanks for your continued support!

Wirraway is a two seater which adds difficulty.

That's looking very good!  I just wonder if the landing gear will be long enough - with the longer Fw 190 fuselage, this could create some stance issues?

Old Wombat

Thanks, Dizzy!

Yeah, something I've been thinking about, too, especially as I'll be using a slightly longer-bladed prop, but I'll have to see what happens when I get that far.

So poltergist ? or was it simply overcome by all the fumes ?

Looking good!

As it is now I think it looks a bit like a beefed up Fokker D.XXI, I thought the tail group was going to be a bit more rounded and Boomerang-y but how you have done it suit's it well.
