But you know it's like that right? all that counts really in my view.

A view I also share  Really nice work Womby

Complete nutter, I swear! You have impressed me greatly. I'm a couple days late but something was telling me I should check in and now I see why.

Apart from anything else your photos very neatly illustrate the difference between the Twin Wasp and the Double Wasp.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

After spending most of the last week stuffing about trying to put a whole bunch of stuff in behind the engine I've scrapped most of it, covered over the inside of the wheel wells & moved onto trying to get the front of the Sea Wallaby finished. :-\

At least I have a fair idea of what I'm doing there, I have yet to start work on the V-frame & hook. :banghead:

At least it's physically progressing

I haven't even opened up the kit boxes for my BMW engined CA-13 idea yet, but I have been busy thinking about what else to possibly mix a CA-12/13 with and I think I may have come up with something Allison engined...

And I have the perfect kit to start out with for it, a Tasman CA-13, the way they intend for it to be built requires hollowing out the inside of the cowl (there is HEAPS of plastic to remove, they may as well have supplied a solid cowl) to fit a white metal engine, to that I say pffft, bugger that.  ;D

A quick & dirty mock-up shot of, very roughly, where I'm at & a comparison with an aircraft with the same engine & a similar role.

Thanks for watching!

Thank you, gentlemen!

I'm currently putting on the exhaust pipes for the 18 cylinders because, unfortunately, they can be seen through the cowl flaps.

Half way on the exhaust pipes. I find I can get three done, then I have to take a break because of the build up of frustration & anger at how difficult it can be to get a few bits of copper wire to do what you want. :banghead:

Reason why I don't do 1/48 scale mate.  Too much detail.   :banghead:
