Perfect for taunting JMNs when/if the shows start up again.

OK I'm new here what or who is JMN? Please. Pretty please.

A JMN is shorthand for the "Joyless Modeling Numptie"- also known as the "Rivet Counter".  A "modeler", or member of the public, with little to no imagination yet critique every little "flaw" in a model, particularly if it involves Whiffery.

Sleeper, I believe the "N" in JMN can also refer to a certain political party from the German region during World War II.

Thank You for the Enlightenment and Welcome.

I understand now, in classic car circles they're 'Anoraks' as they are inevitably wearing one usually with dark grease stains caused by non-contact with a washing machine, or soap. Even in summer they will be carrying one  ;D

I used to help a restorer who loved to bait them; colour not quite right, wrong trim/body colour combination, you get the idea. The model club I belong to are pretty laid back so I think slipping in "Whiffery" needs to be done. I blame Terry Campion Your Honour.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

OGL always says it's MY fault. :(

I guess that means you've either got a reprieve, or competition...

or someone's worked out who's really to blame...  ;)

Here's some inspiration.
I started this before the GB so it doesn't qualify for entry.

Mitsubishi T2 captured by the Internacia Ligo de Pacistoj (International League of Pacifists).  Repainted by the ILdP in "Roobarb and Custard" camouflage and rearmed with non-lethal AAMs.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Could do with a brighter paint job perhaps.  ;D

A very interesting link I came across

Yeah, anything that moves and has at least a modicum of armour would be pressed into service.
I think I saw mention that these were relics from the 1919 Russian Civil War that were relocated to Berlin, probably to a museum of some sort.

A shame they would have been scrapped, though there may still be one or two in Kubinka.
