One of my dream projects

The Rat

I was gifted this model by a friend of a friend, who was willing to let it go just to see my plans for it come to fruition. The decals are courtesy of The Big Gimper over on BTS. The plastic is more like vinyl, so potential paint disasters are anticipated. But this has been a dream of mine for a very long time. Not sure which category it would best belong in, so I'm sticking it in 'Aircraft'.

Oh, Yeah!
A nice Yellow/Red SAR bird, like the CH-113 Labrador?

If it was not slanted for Canada this could also become a new Channel Air Ferry alternative?

That's a really smart build.

My favourite of the Thunderbirds.

What scale/size is it?

'Aircraft' is the correct placement, it's like a 24th century Beverley after all.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The right (and best!) category is "twin-boomers" ;D
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Tamiya primer seems to be sticking okay, so I'll proceed with fingers crossed.

Like Fred, my favourite Thunderbird, also.

I'm probably not the only person this happens to (I hope :-\) but every time I see that box art ... Bum-ba-da-bahm! Bum-ba-da-bahm! ... the old Thunderbirds theme tune booms in my head.
