I'm looking for decals for the Tripartite evaluation squadron, which flew the P.1127 Kestrel.

I can't find any decalsets in the usual places, were these ever released as decals?

Try Kits For Cash' Harro, they used to be called Heritage Aviation and made a 1/72 Kestrel resin kit (got one in the stash). Ian the owner, might have a sheet lying around.

And if he hasn't I have the kit at home too and could scan the sheet..............  ;)

Something like this perhaps?

I can clean it up and scale it to the correct size in a few days I reckon.

There was a sheet made by Vingtor  but it's been OOP for some time and when I spoke to them a coouple of years ago at Telford they said they had no plans to reprint them which is a pity as I would love to get a copy of their sheet .

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Yes, Vingtor do (did...) some very god stuff, but sadly only in very short runs. Quite why they don't want to re-print them I'm not sure, they were unique products and would surly find a ready market.

I have their sheet for the demo Harrier T2 (G-VTOL) and while I've been building her in the original red-white-blue scheme for ages, I want to do a 'Skyhook' diorama with her hanging from a crane.  ;D

Thanks for the offer Kit. I'm going to use the decals on something other than a P.1127 so all I can really use is the roundels.

PR19_Kit

OK, no problem.

The same scale as the pukka Kestrel ones? The upper wing roundels are 36" dia and the lower ones around 25"-26" dia. Do you need any for the fuselage too, the Kestrels did without them entirely.

And what about the fin flashes?

Which stand was theirs at Telford? The really tiny cramped L shaped one on the left or the one further back in the corner?

Holy thread revival . . . . . would you still be able to produce a sheet of those in 1/72 scale ? I have a P1127 and Ketrel project on the go and need decals.

Shame Vingtor (I've tried asking/begging them to do another print run) don't have anymore of these.

Let me know if you can do a sheet or two, obviously I would not let you be out of pocket and any help is appreciated.

I would also like to ask if these could be done for me aswell please, happy to pay

PR19_Kit

Yes I could, I have the artwork on file.

Where are you geographically?
