WHAT is an Me-109X then?

It looks mean, but spindly, all at the same time.

Oh, it's got an Audi AND a BMW engine, it's carrying both badges.

To be honest, I don't know. It was in my spares box. The canopy in the kit had yellowed quite a bit so I went hunting for a replacement and this one fit rather well.

The upswept rear sill rings a vague bell with me, but I can't place it.
