As part of my annual Xmas 'has anybody a clue what they want?' shopping ritual I wandered into my local Works. They are selling various Airfix kits at reasonable prices. The website only shows 3 kits, there were lots more in store.

Also: While you're in there grab any Haynes books you like because no more are being printed.

In 1/72:
B-17G £20
DC3 Dakota MkII and Willys Jeep £30
DC3 Dakota Mk3 £30
AW Whitley Mk.VII £20
Nakajima B5N1 Kate £15

1/48 Curtiss P-40B Warhawk £15

I always pop in if I'm passing, look at the books and see if there's any kits.  I might just pick up a Dak if there's any going.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

What? Has the company closed down?  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Haynes Publishing has been bought up by InfoPro Digital, an online publishing specialist in multi-media products and solutions. They have stopped the writing and production of all new Haynes works.

Ah cheers Nick, I was popping in The Works next week to pick up my 2021 desk diary so I'll have a look. Another Kate would be useful as it's a very nice kit
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Still nothing in my local branch  :-\

Website indicates Revell stuff is available too.  Website search facility is rubbish!

I was checking The Works' website this morning to save a wasted journey and noticed that they have a couple of the kits available via that. So might be a source for those who have no access to a branch that's stocking them.
