Congratulations!
Thanks, bud! Someone on social media mentioned that it might be cool to do one just like this, but use the dual engines set up like that on the original T-38 instead of the single engine of the Viper. Might have to re-visit this some day.

One of those days huh?

The low angle sunlight works in its favour.  Pics look good.
Thanks!!! Yeah it worked out well in the end. It was basically "golden hour" at that point, or very near it.

Certainly was one of those days! You set out to do something that should take 10 minutes, tops, only to finally finish the task nearly 4 hours later. lmao  Sheesh.

Well I like the look of it! ;D Well done!
Big thanks!!  Turned out pretty neat, one of my favorite models now.  ;D

I've just realised what that extended nose reminds me of : XB-70 Valkyrie. Give it canards  ;)

That would be cool, alright!!! File that under another mod idea along with the twin engines for the next go-round....

It's not very often we have models photographed on a layer of SNOW!  :o

But it looks great.

Went from one extreme to the other didn't I?  Black mat and now white board and snow! It does look really cool... I should have thrown even more snow up there and ice crystals but I wasn't thinking of it at the time and in a hurry.

Thank you!! We need to fire up an assembly line of these.  ;D   Good thing is old T-38 and F-16 kits litter the interwebs.

Thank you!  I'm really stoked people like it. One good thing about this is it has helped get over a lot of the anxiety I had about kitbashing. Definitely looking forward to more of this sort of shenanigan.

So it was A Good Day in the end, the tap issues being sorted smoothly in the main and some good pics of a Great Model as well!

Chalk it up as a Win!

Thank you, kindly!!  Wasn't exactly planned that way but I think it worked out for the best.

Give it canards  ;)
Ahem, maybe the canard version should have a rear wing somehow, this is more easy on paper than in plastic <_<

Thank you, sirs!!!!   This was a really fun project. The words part was dealing with the transfers but the rest was a blast. I wish all projects would.... "work" well like this. It was a lot of work getting it together but it wasn't like I had to force things and redo things over and over and over... it seemed like it was wanting to be built...    ;D
