they aren't the same size
they definitely don't match
Letters of different size are wonderful, like a what-if signature! ;D
Discrepant sizes are fun, same sizes are boring (according to me) ;)

Want to know what isn't fair, though?  The fact that my stupid letters won't work. I just noticed that they are different sizes. lmao   :banghead:      It wasn't as apparent when looking at them but.... look at the picture of my "MARINES" markings.... they aren't the same size so it's back to the decalstash again.  ;D

Yeah I just checked them on the sheet, they definitely don't match. I can get N A S but the second set of A's will be the wrong size and thickness.

Well that's annoying.  :banghead:  Obvious question; you don't have any other sheets with 'Marines'?

TheChronicOne

Pretty sure I do! I'm going swimming in my spares later to see what I unearth. I didn't even really get to look through them last time because that sheet of "MARINES" I have here was sitting right on top of the pile.  ;D    I figure the odds of finding what I need are pretty good. What's really getting me is it's more difficult than it might seem to find the four A's....

But damn..... this is how distracted I am sometimes... I not only cut the letters out, trimmed them, but also applied decal film and never noticed that some were the wrong thickness until I saw it in the picture. Sheesh.

That's useful, then. Hope it works out.

Yeah - tunnel vision and assuming things are as you'd like them to be... I can relate!

"Swimming in the Spares' - nice turn of phrase.

I hear ya, brotha!! Fun stuff. I would have gone for it if I had been able to plan ahead for it!  ;D

I didn't plan for it.... but I finished this the same day the NASA Mars rover touched down! How cool is that?!

I think I'll take outside pictures tomorrow. Some of my lighting here isn't good at all and the dark mat looks pretty cool but if I could get some shots outside in the sunlight it would make the blue show up and a lot of the details and things like the tip tanks will be more apparent.

 That bird looks great! Came out very good, Brad! The scheme and markings suit it like a glove, she looks sleek.
I was going to say the same about the pics, the dark mat is hiding some of the lines.

Thanks!! You're right.... I need some outside stuff. The front nearly disappears at times in these.  ;D     Sweet thing is that the Sun has finally returned to SW Oklahoma. Still snow everywhere, so I might even incorporate that into the background. I'm looking forward to staging the pics tomorrow.

Great model! Wow!
"NASA" written in letters of the same size is a little sad/boring but you are forgiven, the general shape being so wonderful!
I plan to update my profile, not as a project anymore but as an actually built machine! ;)

PR19_Kit

That looks SO much better than the RW 2 seater F-16.

Brill job there Brad, most impressive.

I want to nominate this for a Whiffie, but I can't find the blasted 2022 Whiffie thread anywhere!!!!!  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

[Later] I found it, but the thread title is spelt wrong, 'Whiffies' has no 'h' in it in the title.  :banghead: :banghead:

I have corrected my profile from the final true model, so much better, thanks!

Put that down to perseverance... ;)

This is excellent,  It looks like a bought one.
