Blimey
Thanks for the English lesson: I did not know this word, and Google Translate failed to translate it but Google/Reverso gave me the meaning ("Mince alors !" in French, which Google Translate says is "Gosh!" in English). I am not sure I will use it but I will understand when I hear it now, thanks!
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

PR19_Kit

Pretty close to what I intended, yes.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

AIUI "blimey" is derived from the exclamation "may god blind me!".

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That's what I was always told and back in the 60's it was a word you didn't use in front of either of my Grand Mothers
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Tophe

Thanks for the extra language explanation

While the Arado 681 paint is drying, I have started to separate parts of the LR-51 (both very old XLR-51 and modern LR-51D):  <_<

Tophe

I have started to glue parts, but the 3 sides LeeRichards fuselage handling was uneasy... :-\

Tophe

"Seriously", the models construction is progressing...  <_<

Tophe

I have a little improved the wings (to fuselage junction): decreasing the span of the Mustang parts (sorry PR19_Kit) and improving the parallelism rear/front of the annular part. And adding putty on fuselages (to be completed). This is hard work :-\

Uh, shame on me for the wings... :-\

Now sanding fuselages, one side then the other one, then adding putty again:

Tophe

I have sanded again fuselages and I stop this, even if still imperfect (for the old plane, the side is not smooth on the front so this will be a canard simply <_<

Where am I going?  And why am I in a handbasket?

Thanks a lot!

I have glued the second annular half wing on the Mustang fuselage, adding wheels to make it stand properly (not fallen down on the starboard wing tip) and I have added putty in front of the LeeRichards canopy: <_<
