Surely a 'very smooth' saw blade is an oxymoron, isn't it?  :-\ :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Some Ebay catches trickling in:
- Gloster Meteor T Mk 7.5, Special Hobby 1/72. Couldn't resist. It's the most aesthetically balanced meat box of them all.
- Douglas C-47 Skytrain, Esci 1/72. Best Dakota kit around. Can't pass up on them when they pass too close.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Sounds like it but I am sure you have come across saw blades that rear at things you are cutting and some that simply glide through what your cutting.

In this case the one I got fre with my previus order has 42 teeth on one side and 70 on the other while the pack of five I ordered this time round has 42 teeth on both sides. I also have no idea what site the one that came with the handle is tooth wise

Paper Kosmonaut

As I am almost exclusively building in paper but still have some plastic in boxes on my shelves, I guess it's only fair I tell what I have laying around in styrene gathering dust for the time being:

Monogram 1/72 Shuttle stack - reasonable good condition; the ET is a little twisted which is not hard to correct.
Atomic City 1/12 Mercury capsule - hopelessly underdetailed but look what Phil Smith did with it.
Special Hobby 1/32 X-15 A2 - Which I really really want to build one day
ESCI 1/72 R4D-5 Navy Dakota 'south pole pioneer' which I think could make an awesome crash diorama...
Revell History Makers 1/24 Gemini with Realspace resin detail set to, well, detail it a bit better. I have a great paper model which could be of some help in detailing it even further, like the doors for example.
Airfix 1/72 F-111A (vintage #488 Early USAF TAC finish) Which might end up in a kitbash
Airfix 1/72 Grumman TBM-3 Avenger ( vintage #297)
Tamiya Military Miniatures 1/35 German Fuel Drum set
Platz 1/144 P-51 Mustang - two kits in one box (I already made one of them)
Revell 1/144 F-16A - just a super simple kit for a kitbash one day.
Mister Craft Hobby Kits' 1/72 hunk o' plastic - I mean Gloster Javelin Mk7 - never seen such a super thick plastic kit before! I am afraid I will never be able to even get a hacksaw through these fuselage parts! MIght need a chainsaw of some sort.

Oh, and you lot all a very healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year!
dei t dut mout t waiten!

From Bungles stash reduction:

Airfix 1/72 Aerospatiale Gazelle
Airfix 1/130 Cutty Sark
Revell 1/72 Walter Rose/Verena rescue boat

Cheers Andy!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Belated Birthday Greetings to you, sir! ^

Also... wow.. lots of neat stuff already. I get so much inspiration from seeing what you all come up with.... you have helped steer me in the proper direction for buying kits of my own on more than one occasion!

Latest score...

I'll have to come up with some sort of something for liveries. The decals are looking non-useable but something like the orange/red/blue  United tulip scheme would be pretty cool perhaps.

Today's acquisition is something I jusr never buy or build...WW2 German.

Got a Hase 1/48 Stuka for a song on ebay because the decals and a couple of parts are missing. I bought it solely for the cannon pods for a sci-fi build but now that I look at it I wonder if it might make a nice RAF Target Tug for one last entry in the Captured GB.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....
