I'm feeling great, this kit also means that, if the parts I have in mind fit on a Mustang, then my plan will be more likely to succeed...

That reminds me that I have an almost built IBG one in the pile.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It's here.

What an amazing thing it is, as wondrous in the plastic as the real thing must have been back then. But it's TINY, goodness how they expected it to fly with wings that small.

The Swann-Morton scalpel's there to show just HOW tiny it is. That may affect my Whiffing plans for it, but I'll see how it goes.

Like my only other AMP kit, the Fairey Ultra Light Helicopter, it's exquisitely moulded, with crisp panel lines, fine detail and not a hint of flash.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

That looks like a very crisp moulding. I'd be interested to see how it fits together.   Are you REALLY going to build an aircraft with wings that tiny?

No building for me for about a month since I'm back to work tomorrow after another extended period off and will only be home on weekends for 4 weeks, but today the eBay fairy brought me another copy of the gorgeous Revell 1/48 F-86D.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Captain Canada

My Roden Bristol 174 Britannia showed up today. I mostly bought it as it's one of those planes I've never built, and I wanted to throw it together and fly it around the room to get a feel for it. No wonder Canadair chose her for an MPA, she's quite the machine !

Since it came in BOAC markings, I figure I'll stay with the blue theme, and make her a 414 EWU bird, maybe wing tip/ underwing/ and fin top greeblies to entice the fighters during training missions.
