I think  a lot of the fit problems  are from the melted part on one side of the fuselage, but it is still considerably  smaller.  If I  line up the top of the fuselage  the best it can, I  have about  2mm gap along  the belly, and it can't be  pulled out either.  I think a new fuselage is what is needed for  it , shame as the rest of it looks Bob on. I  have looked at the Anigrand one Colin  and from pictures it looks a nice kit,  I  nearly  invested in  one, but bought the  XF 88 instead.

Picked-up not a model kit, but a real cool book called The Ultimate Piston Fighters of the Luftwaffe. Came out in 2014, has lots of line drawings of piston engine fighters that could have went into service late war or post 1945. Author is Just0 Miranda, and back in 2014 it was $34.95 US or 22.50 Pounds. I snagged it, amongst other books, for a mere $2.00 CDN at the RCAF Museum, 19 Wing, Comox, BC, Canada.

Just ordered some more Elheim figures:

Pesky Teens and a Great Dane.
4X Special Forces with P90s and a 'Cosplayer with Pugil stick' - in other words, SG-1 + another 'random attached-for-the-mission' figure. (Jonas, maybe?)
A number of Heads with Boonie Hats, for converting figures with SLRs and 58 pattern pouches into Kiwis in Vietnam. Or Waiouru.

Some paints/washes/inks from a local e-tailer.

The paints are due tomorrow, the UK figures - anybody's guess.

I have been a fan of BPK for some years. They aren't cheap but they are good. I hope that they do some of the military 737s [C-40, Wedgetail, P-8 Posiedon] They did a T-43 some years back and one of the Bombardier regional jets, which i also have.

Also got one other 1/72 kit which will stay a surprise until the "Blue Light GB" kicks off
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

And the Elheim have been dispatched already, which is a big, pleasant surprise what with the lockdown.

No, not this time. Have to be in a (very) nostalgic mood for them... though I did notice they also do figures of the Daughter and Stewardess elsewhere in the range, too...
