From an Ukrainian online shop an AMP 1:72 Fa 225 - a very nice kit, but earmarked as major body donor for a future project from the long idea list.

Also dug up an affordable Aoshima 1:24 PA-36HD mecha kit dual combo in Japan, I hope it will arrive safely some day.

And, finally, my purchase from Bungle's running clearance sale arrived this week - not for me, rather as a gift for someone who will certainly appreciate the kit. Thanks a lot!

Two lots of decal paper, at long last.

I was getting seriously short of the stuff..............

This Annular plane has success among us: after frank2056 built the 1/72 and I ordered one (receiving this 1/48 by mistake and exchanging back to the 1/72 I ordered), now you with this one.

After reading about the plans for the MoD to resurrect the remaining Gannet AEW3s during the Falklands War in the 'Harrier 809' book, I ordered a Sword AEW3 from the Big H. It arrived this morning in  an impressively large box, but it's a surprisingly large aeroplane, despite the lack if room inside it. (I flew in one back in 1961  ;D)

Even better is that Sword have upgraded the kit from the first release and now include a full resin interior for the two Observers in the back!

Mine won't be in 849 NAS colours though, I'll save that lovely black and yellow fin decal for another project, but it may come out in Barley Grey with 8 Sqdn markings.  ;D

Not much modeling at the moment as Im away from home for training M-F but I had a few kits arrive over the weekend.

Revell (OLD Revell, not Monogram) 1/48 A-10.  Not a particularly great kit but the engines are better than the Revellogram ones for kitbashing IMO.  These are going to be mated to a P-61 fuselage for a Star Warsy ship kitbash.

Hase 1/48 P-400 Airwacobra.  Not an aircraft I ever particularly cared for but for new unopened condition the price was hard to pass up.  Looks a nice kit.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....
