The whiff potential for the Hawk is good.  ;)

I am  thinking of  back dating this to around the  late 70's, as a requirement for the RAF for a small all weather  fighter to replace the  single seater gnats on the Falklands.

Gondor

Arrived today from AllyCat

2 x 1/72 Odds And Ordnance EE Lightning T-Bird conversion sets

and literally ust arrived from Hannants

1 x 1/72 Anigrand Ceaftworks Republic XF-103 Thunderwarrier

1 x 1/72 Anigrand Ceaftworks Bell XF-109

The two O&O Lightning sets are to go towards my Navalised Lightning builds for which I have everything apart from a clear bench to start on  The sets look great and I think I will be buying some more for real world builds and will use up the Trumpeter kits I have.

The two Anigrand Ceaftworks kits complete my colection of centuary seried American fighters unless there was an F-112? The XF-109 will lookk interesting next to the V 101C-1 that I have in the stash.

NARSES2

From the Big H, an AZ 1/72 Messerschmitt Bf-109 E-7 Trop.

You may ask why ? as I've just laid my hands on the new tool Special Hobby 109, well I want to build them in tandem and compare and contrast. Initial thoughts are that the Special Hobby kit has far more parts and more detail, but nonetheless the AZ one looks very nice on the sprues so it will be interesting to see how they build.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Today arrived a planet models Heinkel He P1079B. I really wanted the A version but they are a bit thin on the ground but this will suffice. The kit doesn't  have many parts as the fuselage and wings are all molded as one piece including some of the cockpit. This is going to be an Armstrong Whitworth flying wing-tailess design, and be either a prototype night fighter in the early 50's or an in service night fighter. It may get a bigger nose to house a radar as the thing is quite small.

Just ordered 2 1/144 Millennium Falcon on Amazon, the Lando Falcon, and the Han Falcon, to kitbash
Both kits have arrived, and sweet Hanna they're epic, going to save the Han Falcon and get a Rey Falcon (their first run and several errors in the production great kb fodder)
Well, got the TLJ Falcon on the 28th, and using it for the swap.
"Mind that bus." "What bus?" *SPLAT!*

Won, and waiting to pay for MPC 1/600 Ajax Destroyer... Yes, I'm aware that she was a Light Cruiser, lol
Arrived today, going to turn her into the HMNZS Odysseus (50) or HMS Endymion (27)

Two metal models for my birthday:
Piececool Black Dragon
Piececool HMS Prince of Wales

I think they're the same company that make the Metal Earth kits, these are a bit more elaborate and many have more of an Asian focus.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I  think I have some A4 skyhawk IFR probes somewhere, one of those should look the part.

Let me know if you haven't as I know i have spares for these from the Fuiimi kit.

The variants of the SIAI SF-260 as released by KP are worth looking at too. This link has the boxing with Zimbabwe, Haitian, Sri Lanka and Phillipine markings. There are others.....  https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/KPM72214?result-token=MFM2g
