One of my LHS have them in stock and I am troubled with thoughts of adding a fuselage and conventional tail.

I know these thoughts... Something F-4ish might work...?

A small parcel STUFFED with very useful bits from Dave Kitbasher.

These to aid the final build of my MB6/7/whatever.

[Later] Some of the prices people are asking for Heller Viggens on eBay are RIDICULOUS! Over £130 in one case, and then they have the nerve to charge almost £17.00 for postage!
Well, that's just your standard evilbay SUPER MEGA RARE @@P pricing practices. The kit is very much in print, and in stock at Big H for £13 (and probably other retailers too). Unless you really badly want one of the old boxings with a particular cover art and without the JA sprue, there's no point in paying anything more than that.

I got a 2 seater  heller viggen  not that long ago and I  think I paid about  15 quid for it, some people on Ebay  are pure greedy, or delusional.

That's VERY useful, thanks so much.

I don't think I've ever seen a Heller Viggen of any sort, but I really should build a RW JA version as I installed the fatigue test rig upgrade for it in  Linkoping in 1978-9.

They're not that expensive over here, say around £25 or so. Let me know if I can help.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Today I appreciate the benefits of track&trace on packages. I'd ordered a few BAC MUSTARD kits from S&M. These were dispatched and Mel sent me a tracking number.

Through the Royal Mail tracking site I could see that a delivery attempt had been made on Monday (odd, I was home at the time and didn't notice), but no notice of 'we couldn't deliver your package and you can pick it up at XYZ'.

Checked again on the Dutch post office tracking site, no result. RM showed that the package had arrived at a pickup location, didn't state which one.

I called the Dutch mail helpdesk, gave them my tracking nr and they were able to tell me where the package was. I picked it up today: instead of my home address, it had my old work address on it (the address where I haven't worked for 3 years now, and that building sits empty). I had given Mel my home address, but I think the old work address was attached to my PayPal payment.

Anyway, the work address explained why the Dutch tracking site couldn't find it: it requires a postal code, and my home postal code is not the same as the old work address code. Luckily the helpdesk can search by tracking number only.

So: added to my stash, enough MUSTARD kits to make a full launch stack.
