The Wooksta!

One of the Carpena Mosquito sheets arrived via eBay, along with a set of Quickboost Mosquito U/C doors. I've already got that sheet but it's the only one with the Norwegian bands for the spinners and I'd like to do one or two of them in your actual Norwegian markings and not just the spinners.

Some  type  D post war RAF  roundels arrived this morning,  from antics online.  Talk about half measures as the sheet is a  quarter of the  size of what decal sheets usually are. I  think I  will just stick to buying full aircraft decals.  :-X
Chris

Xtradecal roundel sheets are good. I have the 1/48 D sheet and it's a full sheet with a lot of different sized rounders.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Got myself a twofer on evilBay:

Revell 1/144 Tornado IDS, and Hawker Hunter FGA.9

Anybody want the Tornado?

Making the Hunter either IAC, USAF, or RNZAF No.14 Sqn (only RNZAF decals I have, lol) always could use decals no one needs, lol

They certainly  are, but in 72nd scale  the sheet  they used to do isn't  all roundels that I  would use unfortunately.

Is this something that would help you, Chris? If so, I would be honoured to send this sheet to you. I won't use them anyway and would be delighted to help you out.

I also have a few sets from Canberra's, Javelins etc in 1/72 that I won't use, so you can have it all.

Let me know, will you?

Almost forgot, started picking up 1/56 (28mm) Rubicon Models' Shermans. Currently have the M4 Composite, and M4A2(75). These things are awesome, for the modeller who wants to build every variant of the Sherman family. On the way, I have the M4A2(76), M10/M36, and M4.

The M4A2(76)W will get a M4A2 high bussel 75mm turret and be a mid production RL/RW USMC M4A2(75)W, my M4A2 will use the Firefly turret option and become a whiff Firefly IIIc, and the M10/36 will get the late production T23 turret and HVSS suspension from the M4A2(76)W and the M36's 90mm gun to create my fictional M8A1 Wheeler medium tank.

Finally found at a reasonable price instead of the ridiculous amount usually  asked, I found a Bandai B-Wing Fighter.  One of my favorite SW ships.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

The Wooksta!

Couple of ebay wins, again Mosquito related:
Modeldecal 17 - includes a 4 Sqn option that's repeated on two other sheets.  I really wanted it for the photos he provides in the distructions.
Freighdog post war Mosquitoes - already have a few of this sheet in the decal box, but extras never go amiss
Another Tamiya FB6

Bandai B-Wing is 1/72.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Bandai B-Wing is 1/72.
Fred,  I thought they came out with one in 1/144 as well. And, their "1/144" A-wings are not, they used the wrong measurement for the A-wing so they're out of scale. The length of the A-wing is 6.9m. Someone, at one point, accidentally transposed them to 9.6m, and that is what Bandai ended up using. And so far, it's the only screw up they've made.

Berliet GBC 8kt

All in 1/72 and cast in resin by French ADV Mini. Really chuffed, because I got them all for less than £30 which is great as they're rare as hens teeth here and could be cast in gold considering what you have to pay if you can find them abroad and ship them.
