It was ANY kit of the X-1 I've been looking for.

There was a conversion set done by a US firm for the Fujimi Mk II kit that was on the market for a short while, but I never found one. I did get their conversion for the Heller Ferrari 512S to convert into Mark Donahue's 512 M though, and that's wonderful.

The DDP kit is the whole thing in resin, minus the engine, but I may graft a Fujimu Mk II 427 engine in there anyway.

Whif it.  Drop in a Cammer.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The Wooksta!

It's in the country!   Allegedly.  Well, they're marked as being in stock so one was naturally ordered.

What am I referring to?  The new Airfix Mosquito of course.

And I sent an email to Airfix wanting a new wing upper sprue for the Vulcan. Warped to hell.

Mine's pre-ordered so we shall see, fingers crossed

Yeah, that's just the sort of thing that Bruce would have done if they'd let him keep it as planned!

I've got one left over from an aborted GB build a while ago too.

I've dug out the big 427 from a Fujimi Mk IV already as I'm not likely to build the Mk IV, I just don't kike the shape. :(

Good score.
It's a nice little kit and goes together well.

The Wooksta!

Picked up a KPM Tempest. Went for the Beaumont boxing for the decals for a silver aircraft in 1947 - I've a stalled Tempest Is that could be finished quickly with those.  I have plans to do it as a Tempest Is anyway.

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

The Wooksta!

Picked up Modeldecal... Can't remember the number but it's the one with a load of second line Lightning F1a's on it.  Wanted it just for the Air Fighting Development Squadron markings as they're going on the P.8.

Also received PD Decals 72004 Mosquito Bombers from a guy on Britmodeller, so that's off me Wants lits.  It's the only sheet to give an option for a short nacelle bomber Mosquito, in the fetching Dark Gree/Dark Earth over Sky scheme.

Very tempted with an Airfix Victor K.2 but managed to resist.
