Yes, that's it, plus the decal sheet and 2 seat canopy.

Not tempted by this one but I wish AZ well with it.  The decal sheet is interesting - handy whif items even if the serial numbers are a bit mad!

I do have the original non-whif boxing in the stash and look forward to tackling it one day.

The Wooksta!

I've just got the canopy on the single seater.  I was boycotting the trainer but may - very begrudgingly - think about it.  Hacks for SR187 Thunderbird units.

I can see a Batplane from that with the scalloped exhausts, with a tail to match.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thanks to a competition run by Roden in conjunction with another forum, I've found myself the rather humbled owner of their newest kit, the 1/32 SPAD XIII c1 (I swear I was smiling!):

As it happens the first WW1 kit I build by myself was the Revell 1/72 SPAD which, despite a lot of "airshows" in my bedroom, has survived long enough to pose with its newly-arrived big brother:

I'm working to clear my bench of projects so this and my recently-arrived Ark Models 1/48 Lavochkin La-9 (birthday present from early Aug that was delayed by COVID in Italy) can be given the attention and care they deserve.

Or if you don't like the two-seater concept, paint over the rear cockpit and make it extra fuel space for a Mk.2 version. The SR.53's Viper only put out 1,650lb, but Vipers eventually got up to 4000lb (5000lb with reheat), so you could claim increased power with no external changes (might need bigger intakes - not sure).

Well done Zac.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Well done Zac.

I'm with Fred there Zac, very well done!

Can't wait to see how you do with the Big Spad.

Yup well done Zac. You could always do it RFC or Italian FC to make it a little bit less usual

Well done Zac!

Glad I read the post and didn't just look at the pictures as I was thinking that it's a hell of a big box to produce the model you were holding

Bet I wasn't the only one thinking to start with.  ;D

Thank you folks, I felt very humbled when I was announced as one of the winners. The size of the box is deceptive - the completed wingspan looks to be little bigger than the wide edge of an A4 sheet of paper?

When I learned the pilot of the RFC option, Lt JD Hewett, went to Wanganui Collegiate School here in my hometown that kinda solved the problem!
