Question: I finished (Sort of) my hybrid Iowa/Burke future battleship model which is here.

The model is 99.99999999% done. Even though I don't have the railgun turrets that I had wanted for the model, the ship does look good enough with the older 16" gun turrets on it. The ship could look good with either type of main gun turrets on it.
So.......could it possibly be entered for a 2022 Whiffie, or should I wait until 2023? If 2022 isn't allowed, then no problem. I'll just wait I guess.

Just two thoughts to your post:

• Usually builds are nominated when they are finished. Whether yours is finished or not is up to you. The 2022 whiffies are open for all models finished in 2021, models finished in 2022 go into the 2023 whiffies.
• It is normally "not done" to nominate your own builds. You wait until someone else will do it. (Or bribe them to do so with copious quantities of alcoholic beverage...).

So I would advise you to first decide whether the model is finished or not and if yes, then announce it as being finished in the build thread. And then wait, pray and hope for someone to nominate it..... Whether you do that this year and hope it gets into the 2022 whiffies or next year is completely up to you.
