These were installed in the field against hand grenades, which now simply rolled off. IIRC there were also "professional" solutions, but PSP was frequently used for jury-rigged constructrions. A nice detail!

Tthanks for you kind words folks. It was a very easy build and conversion with a viceless Tamiya kit.

BTW, I am interested in the 1:72 Aussification set, because I am considering a late-war whiffy Matilda II from the PTO. Any link to share for details?

In the absence of a 1/48 Aussification set I may be forced to scratchbuild the Brass Knuckles for the front of the tracks.  Shouldn't be too hard coming up with something vaguely accurate*.  Making both sides the same will be the trick.

Thank you very much - I alreday had the Dan Taylot set8s) on the radar, but these are 1:76, and might prove to be a bit too small for a 1:72 kit. It's certainly not much, but can cause problems. However, I'll have a look, thanks a lot!
