Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I dunno why, but for some reason when I first looked at the first pic, that was all my mind's eye would let me see.

Now I want to build one, but I've already got such a build list  ...

Seriously considered it but I'm trying to keep the backstory as credible as possible and it doesn't really lend itself to Ireland's tight budget paying for the integration of a whole new weapon.  It will get some US assistance with upgrades though so it will be shown c.1973 carrying AIM-9Es.  Should be done tomorrow. Down to fiddly bits.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....
