Inspired by PR19s RNLI Air Wing idea, I've been wandering down the path of the drone. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-53600780

There was one of these based at the airport where I learned to fly in the mid-late 80s. Based on what I saw back then I would not want to be over water in one of those things.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Mix of autonomous and remotely piloted there, Nick.  Have been thinking the same for my entry/entries.

The WG33 is a total HOOT!  ;D

I'm expecting A Model, Mikro-Mir or AMP to bring a kit of one out soon. Probably just as our Blue Light GB ends......
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

If you're doing an American emergency vehicle, here's a handy reference on what's legal by state.

Mind boggling.  :o. Nice and easy on this side of the pond, all emergency vehicles have blue lights.  Red lights may be used to indicate to a driver they need to stop.
Commercial vehicles & construction vehicles have amber flashing lights (sometimes green lights to show the driver is using a seatbelt).  These are purely hazard warning lights.
Doctors use green lights, these don't give them the same ability to disregard  road laws like blue lights.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Just a heads up for anyone looking to source decals, there is a chap selling on facebook under the name Plastigraphix with quite a range of custom made  general and specific police/fire/rescue decals.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I feel like a trip to Italy is coming on

Very nice. Even I didn't know of it. And a lot more to see in northern Italy.
But you'd better wait till after COVID: At the moment everything is closed down.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Post-WWII the Italian State Police used the "Metropolitana" version of the AS.42 as police and security
vehicles, those used by the XI Reparto Mobile retained their 20mm Breda cannon and Breda 37 MGs.
The "Metropolitana" had storage lockers in place of the jerry can rack.
They were painted overall Amaranth Red.
