Can I take it one at a time Mike ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Blue Rider.
Blue Rider.
Blue Rider.....make great decals, and have some early South American markings in their collection.
Try Hannants, although you can also get them direct from Blue Rider, at

QuoteDoes anyone know a source for Central/South American national markings used on aircraft circa 1930/1950 ?
Maybe this site can help you:
Roundels of the World
http://cocardes.monde.online.fr/v2html/en/...n/alphabet.html

Some countries are also shown with former roundels and markings.

President Chavez of Venezuela claims to be buying MiG-29s   Probably will be painted similarly to the current Venezuelan F-16As (similar to the SEA scheme).

This is what a Venezuelan F-16A looks like.

My poor opinion of President Chavez aside, an SU-27 in FAV (Venezuelan Air Force in spanish) markings would look much better.  I am surprised no one has mentioned a Berkut for their "What-If?".
