Well, round the Cape of Good hope maybe.

Going via Cape Horn would be the REALLY long way round.  ;D

Send a tank battalion to tow one end of he ship out using lots of strong chains.

There is a rumour that the ships captain was an older chap with a large white beard, went by the name of Albert Trotter. He was last seen muttering "During the 1956 Suez Crisis between England and Egypt...."

Put a few of these up top, bow and stern, pointed in opposite directions.  ;D

Does water flow through the Sooz?

They could bring in a team of Bangladeshi shipbreakers.  Those guys could have it cut up and out of the way in a few days.
Of course half of them would die from avoidable workplace accidents, the rest would be maimed, and the environmental impact would be terrible to behold...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I wonder how seriously the owners of the ships backing up behind it have thought of turning them around and sending them around the Horn?

I saw it as part of a Tumblr thread screen cap on the Book of Farces, but it seems tracking data us showing ships heading for Good Hope

I think I'd be getting high-pressure water pumps on the scene asap.  The ones the Egyptian Army used to wash away the Israeli Sinai sand wall would seem to have the power and capacity necessary.  Looking at that overhead picture, the ship seems to be stuck on something that should have been dredged away anyway, so it's not as if they'd be weakening the canal wall.

Dig a second Canal. Have it nationalised. Go ballistic and start a war on Egypt. Get a wrist slap by Uncle Sam and stick another boat across the second one too.
