The inline engine looks SO wrong, but I like it.
A Fairey Swodfish with such an engine would look "special", too.  ;)

Exceptionally neat piece of work mate

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ummm... Should I point out the rego mistake or have you intentionally done it that way for a reason?...

Oh bugger.
:banghead:
For my PDRV builds I decided Victorian aircraft would use regos V-XXXX rather than the RW (for Australian registrations) VH-XXX.  When I drew this set up I modified them from existing transfers i'd done for a PDRV aircraft and forgot to move the dash.  I even checked my TAA Rotodyne to see which wing the regos went on and didn't notice my mistake.
Oh well, I'll invoke Kit's Whiffing Rule #1 and change the back story, it's now part of the PDRV reality,  Victorian Flying Doctor Service rather than Australian.  Lucky the logo is too small to read the script.

Rule #1 works for me

That's Rule #2.

'The backstory can always be modified to suit the model'

Rule #1 is (of course...)

'Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings'  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Just build it with longer rear spoilers  ;)

Looking rather like the Turbo-Beaver that they built.
I do agree though that it could possibly do with a longer wing. Maybe just one extra bay, let's not be silly, but I think that would work.

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

A Charger Daytona?  ;)

That was a taller wing.
Given that a cars "wings" are the areas over its wheels making them longer would mean making the car longer.  Putting the front of a Capri on an Escort for example.

I have demasked the windows.
Disaster!  Dust on the insides of the glazing.  This is despite sealing the nose intakes with a foam block.
I suppose I could have left it but it was bugging me so much I popped the windscreen off and cleaned the glass.
This obviously f**ked the paint round the windscreen and so some major touching up will be needed.  Oh well,  seeing as it was to be operating here it probably should have had an anti-glare panel anyway.
Otherwise I am working on the wheels, the prop (gluing back on the two blades I snapped off drilling it), and detail painting the airframe.

There is a textured panel moulded into the underside of each wing at the root.  Anyone know what they are supposed to be?  You can see something there in this pic but it's not as protruding IRL as Matchbox's mould makers thought it was.
