When I 'emigrated' to Northants on Lockdown 1 Day last year (March 23rd unless you've forgotten) I packed enough modelling stuff to carry me through the next month or two as Boris 'assured' us that it wouldn't be for long. (Yeah, right....)

Since then, through two more lockdowns and goodness knows how many restrictions, my modelling rate has multiplied by 4 or 5 and I've had to buy a whole  lot of stuff to keep me going here. Taking advice from you lot on here, all the paint I've bought has been acrylics, stuff I've not been used to using before, but now I certainly am!

My 'carerees' here have now been declared safe to go out shopping etc., thanks to the double jabs we've all had, so I'm heading back to the FoD tomorrow (to the chaos that will be my house by now....) and I'm packing all my stuff up today, and there's LOADS of it! I took the opportunity to take a census of the paint I'd bought since I got here and it turns out to be TWENTY TWO Halfords spray cans and FIFTY ONE pots of various acrylics!!!!!  :o :o

That seems a bit on the minimalist side , I'm sure that you can get a bit more than that in your car!

NARSES2

And how many of those are duplicated or even triplicated colours ?

You reminded me I need to take a trip to Halford now it's opened again. Bit awkward to get to for me by public transport even without Lockdown.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

PR19_Kit

That's JUST the paint!

There's LOADS more stuff to pack yet, clothes, models, books, magazines etc, not to mention my bike and my short slot racing test track! I'll actually need to come back for another load later in the month!

Did you at least take the 850 Estate when you decamped to Northants (or on any of your subsequent trips between sites)?

Sometimes, but I'll come back with it for the second recovery trip. The current bolide is my V6 Turbo Signum, which is pretty large, but it also has a roof box.  ;)

You'll need a ladder for one of those!

PR19_Kit

Nah, I just open one of the rear doors,, stand on the sill and load the box. I'll be doing just that in about half an hour in fact.

"Bolide"  what a singularly apposite choice of word!!  As a retired teacher, I am always delighted to see some of the lesser known vocabulary of the language getting an airing.
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."
It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

As this particular Signum has a 2.5 litre turbo V6 that pumps out 280 bhp, it really IS apposite.

It's the most powerful car I've ever owned by far.   :o

I'm reminded of that every time I pay it's latest Road Tax. :(

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
