Although I doubt it would carry a Union Jack as an emblem given its association with saints and empire. Plus of course there's no Welsh emblem on it, although there is a Cross of St David flag which is normally a yellow cross on a black field, but has been portrayed as being the other way round.

I've no idea what a flag of the People's Republic of Great Britain and Northern Ireland would be I'm afraid.

IMHO, flag would not change, as Poland, Hungary, etc... did not change the flag. I used the USSR red flag as a sort of communist generic flag. This is whiffery!

You got me thinking about the whole idea of a Socialist Rep of Great Britain and my brain just went a bit too deeply into the details

That does look good, although again it ignores the Welsh and maybe instead of the engineers dividers it should have a pint glass
