Well, I've come to the conclusion that trying to photograph an all-black a/c in a dark room at night is brutal..........

As part of my RCAF 2012 scenerio, the JTF2 is greatly expanded as well.........at first using modified Griffons until ( somebody makes the kit of the UH-1Y ) Bell starts up the Super Griffon production line.

Set yourself up with photobucket.com and just link from there. Works for me, and it probably saves bandwidth for Tom.

Besides, I still haven't figured out how to post pics here any other way.

Yep, it's the wee italeri kit. If you stand a few feet back, it really looks like a Griffon ! I need to make a nice diorama base incl. trees etc. and take some good pics outdoors or in better light.

And JTF1 were the drug guys, they were canned when they took the term 'joint' literally !

Do you mask off your windows or paint with airbrush (or by hand?) prior to assembly?

It's the clear parts that always make me nervous about building the helos!

Exactly, JHM ! That's the same thing that scares me...and the exact reason why I just tossed this one together !

And yes, it is brush painted. I was originally going to do it as a 'real' Griffon, but it sat around the 'hangar' for 4 years, and got a little too beat up.

But when I do spray a real helo, I use micro-mask to cover the windows.
