Hope you like it.

Love it. Tail-sitting notwithstanding.  I think the comet wingroot engines go well with it.

Thanks.  I baulked at the new requirement to pay $$ in order to access those functions (maybe not so new - its some years since I accessed Photobucket). I probably need to take a good hard look a myself about that.  At least PB appears improved from the spammed-to-hell state it was in last time i used it.

NARSES2

I pay US $7.99 a month which is normally just under £6 for my PB subscription. Considering I'll probably never use all my storage and I've got hundred's of family and holiday photos on there as well as my model snaps and continue to add to it I'm happy with what I get for the price.

As you've said they've definitely improved over the last year or so. I think there was almost a "workers revolution" from within which seems to have worked
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Were the Yak-15/17s just for trials then?

They obviously didn't like burnt runways as the following Yak-23 was a nosewheel type.  ;D

Were there ever any American tailwheel jets?

Yak-15 (tailwheel) went into limited service, nominally as a fighter but mainly used to give pilots jet experience.

Yak-17 (nosewheel) went into limited service, but most production was of 2-seat trainer version.

Yak-23 (nosewheel) went into limited service.

Yak-15/17/23: just over 1000 built
MiG-9: just under 600 built
MiG-15: over 17,000 built... :o

I don't think so...at least nothing I can find through Google-fu.
