Today, after painting the latest stage of Perzebo construction, I got to join the wings.  The ruler is not part of the finished build. Wingspan is 720mm greater than an Fw 200.

Well I'll put my hand up and admit I had to look up the meaning of Geosynthetics  ;D

When I worked in earthmoving we purchased Geotextiles from them (heavy woven fabric laid between clay layers to stabilise fill sites).  There are four scales on the ruler.  Unfortunately none of them is 1/72.

Today I added some reinforcing to the section between the wings and started building up a structure to attach panels to in that area (more elegant than just stuffing a huge amount of filler and sanding it to shape).
I also built up the base of the vertical and horizontal tails with styrene sheet prior to sanding to shape.  And I finally managed to remove the internal parts of the electric toothbrush head that forms the end of the tail boom.  This took a combination of brute force and strategic cutting.

I'm glad you love it Tophe.  It will be unarmed as it is a reconnaissance aircraft.

Today I put putty on the tails and started panelling in the centre section.
