Good! With a rear post? <_<
Will the whif part be its being 'in service' or Canadian or else?

Magic, what an exotic looking device!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

The wiff part will simply be me putting it into service Tophe and yes the observer/photographer will be at the rear along with the pilot. He'll take the place of the gunner in the real world version

It's certainly odd and you get the idea that the French Air Ministry were rather coerced into funding it ? Somebody knew something about somebody perhaps ?  ;)

And yet it was a design concept that attracted a few manufacturers, Westland and Miles among them.

In theory, the tandem-wing layout has a lot going for it, and I'm a fan. It isn't compulsory to make it ugly however, although it's certainly easy to...

Nice project!

Well I finally trimmed the major parts up and sorted the minor ones out during which exercise I scared myself silly by looking at the finesse of some of them. They look highly unlikely to survive the build process and indeed I've already had a rummage in the spares box for some suitable styrene bits.

Highly doubtful this will meet the deadline, especially as I'm away for about 10 days in September, but it's on the bench and is next up to be started so we shall see.

If completion is too late for this GB, the final result will be welcome anyway, somewhere else <_<

It will be finished Tophe, as will the Fokker  ;D

Got the interior built and have started on the painting. Decided to paint it in Colorcoat's Chamois which was one of the many interior/protective colours the French used, rather than the dark shades I normally use.

Interior finished and fitted into the fuselage half. Fuselage halves closed up and mostly is a good fit. A couple of area's will need more than a cursory meeting with the sanding pads, but resin sands easily. Sometimes to easily

Highly doubtful this will get finished in time, especially as modelling time will be curtailed over the next couple of weeks, but I'll see.

To be honest the front wing joints are frightening the life out of me. I need to face them with both a clear head and bench.

Made a return to this this morning. Did the first round of p.s.r. on the fuselage and in all honesty it's not a good fit at all. I managed to get most of the "mismatch" to be on the underside so any errors on my part will be hidden. In my Moonbat piece I commented on how easy, sometimes too easy, it was to sand Anigrand's resin, well Planets is the exact opposite and is extremely har.d Needed to take a file to some areas otherwise I'd have been there all day. Still the join is now primed so I can hopefully see what needs a second round, probably all of it.

Also got the propeller and spinner built, did some detail painting and cut out the vacform canopy (they give you two). Trial fit is quite good, which I'm happy about given it's length and odd shape.
