Now I have received the 2 kits of P-51D 1/144, I am ready to build this asymmetric one.

HLM means (asymmetric) Hurricane-Like-Mustang.
This is a joke with the French famous HLM buildings (Habitat à Loyer Modéré = Home at Low Price)

Last night (probably), the butcher came in my home and the little P-51s suffered horrible things (it seems). I tried to cure them a little with putty and use of the extra spinners from the kits

I forgot to say this model comes from dear kitbasher showing me in May 2021 a magazine source with the asymmetric Hurricane.
I knew this picture from http://www.geocities.ws/asymmetrics/britishasymms.htm but without reference to the Hurricane family.
Then I said I will not build this Hurricane but maybe a 1/144 Mustang cousin, and here we are.

With these 2 kits, the main goal was to make the P-51HLM but what to do with the rest? Just a short-nose engine-less Mustang (with a third tailplane to put somewhere)? This was a little sad, like waste of kit. So I imagined a better use, creative: another asymmetric Mustang, with fuselage & boom (using a piece of sprues from the Mirage 3/5 kit):

Why are these models of mine so imperfect, "bad"?... You know they are very very small, not 1/48...
