That second shade gives it a MERDC feel.  Definitely work in the swamps of SEA.

Mr Old Wombat sir I think she's looking pretty damn good ..the camo would work quite nicely but I see what you ment about the shades.
Once ya weather it up a bit with some washes and dry brushing it should pull it all together a charm.
I was reading some of the earlier posts about the turrets weight and how this beast would handle in the water..considering what they did fit as prototypes for later vehicles yours is kinda mild really.
There's 105mm ..90mm guns tested..I'm pretty sure they tryed a M24 turret..a M18 turret and now this could be skuttle butt talking going on here but a M36 Jackson turret complete with it 90mm gun to give it some real punch ..don't quote me on that thou.
They did tie the M101 105mm gun to LVTs and fired them on the water in combat..to good success too so yup yours rocks Guy 😁

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Thank you, gents!

No more colours! Just gloss coat, decals, matt coat & weathering to go.

The tracks (AFV Club) are black, so will need some painting up. The Italeri tracks are a nice metallic colour but are as stiff as a board.

Think you had it right but then went too far.  But that's just my opinion and we all know what they say about them.
;)
Hard to tell for sure anyway due to the different paint sheens.
Still looks awesome.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks, Chris!

Well, if the Black Green darkens, as I hope it will, then I'm just going to have to disagree with you, mate. ;)

Just doing a few little touch-up bits that I forgot & she'll be getting glossed!

Hopefully that'll fix the "different sheen" issue. We'll see.

I don't want to live in a world where everyone agrees.  Booooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrring.

And anyway, it's your model.

The gloss fixed the sheen issue a treat! ;D ;D

A bit shiny, now, for photo's. I'll take some once I have the decals & matt coat done (before the weathering). <_<

I was going to suggest the tiger stripe pattern, but more like what you'd see on a Tiger Shark, but it turned out well, Wombie

Matt coat (Tamiya TS-80 Flat Clear) has been applied. Just waiting for it to dry.

Annoyingly I'm still getting too much reflected light.

Also, the cable on the rear is slightly too long despite measuring the thread I used against the inside of the (highly problematic) Italeri plastic part, I guess it must have stretched during the painting process. :-\

Don't even mention red dry transfers! :banghead:

Size comparison;

As I sadi; "HUGE! is the first thought that comes to mind." :o

It would need a lot of volume to get that load of heaviness to float.  :o
