What I am going to build for this group build...

How to reduce carbon emissions - Tip #1 - Walk to the Bar for drinks.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Wholly authentic, the real ones were equally troublesome......

Oooh, the elusive (at least here) High Planes kit!

Very nice indeed, and a really good inspiration for me to get on with my long since started but still caught in mock-up stage PR.10.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

And where did you get those wings from?

Looks a bit like my Pr.9 Prototype:

The nose is an old (very old, actually) Matchbox PR.9 whereas the rest is a Mach2 RB-57F. As far as masochistic modelling goes, that's pretty advanced, I tell ya..
I am planning on some sensor stuff differentiating it from the real PR.9, but I don't really know which way to go yet. Optimally, you would want to keep it mainly palletised in order to ensure mission flexibility.

Just sorted the landing gear covers and attached the wings permanently today though, all thanks to you inspiring me. Good man!

Higher and higher, I would say.
Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

You can tell the engines came from an RB-57F by the grooves running down each side of the cowlings. They are the fan exhausts from the monster TF-33s hanging on the front.

Which nose did you use Brian?

Which nose did you use Brian?

A misshaped one marked "Aeroclub".  It had no interior, hence the scrapbuilt one and it has take three tries to line it up properly on the fuselage.  Busy with PSR at the moment.   :banghead:

I thought it might have been.

John Adams produced that conversion to replace the oddly shaped nose on the old Airfix Canberra B6. They're pretty rare these days I guess, and I keep coming across mine while exploring The Loft, but I don't have a B6 to go with it.  ;D

Send it to a good home - me!  I'm surprised, aparently there are a few Canberra noses around out there.  I have just purchased a Heritage T.4 resin nose and apparently Aeroclub also did an injected version.

Anyway, there has been some substantial progress:

Wings, tail, undercarriage attached, undercoated.   PSR continues. :banghead:
