Not a whiff, but I can't say that I'd seen these markings before?

The cowling markings make me think of a Lavochkin La-7  ;D

Oh to be whiffing again :-(

Gondor

I thought the same as you when I saw the picture. That could be a tempting kit for me to buy..... as if I need any more kits

Me as well. It's a stunning looking aeroplane though
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Apparently Eduard are bringing out a special Bunny Fighter Club edition of their new tool Tempest Mk V which among the markings choices offered will include two What If versions.

1) RNZAF Naval Tempest with rabbit sculls and rabbit pinup from HMS Habbakuk, Antarctica, summer 1946/1947.

2) A post war Czech police Tempest for the defence of the Zatec brewery against CIA balloon attacks.

A novel will be published to describe both events.  ;D

With a suitably British slogan written down the side? ;D
I'll step aside and let the rest of you come up with some ideas  ;D

I've got one, precisely because of those markings

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

"God save the Queen King" springs to mind (a phrase neatly combining two concepts I don't subscribe to).
Or "For Churchill!".

This would be nice in the one true scale.  Mind you, i'm still waiting for Eduard to release Bunny Fighter MiG 21 transfers in 1/72.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I know it's 1/48 but suitable hints have been dropped in time for Christmas  and it can join my Eduard 1/48 Spitfire Mk I (early)

Behold: the Bunny Fighter Typhoon!  ;D

If anyone gets this and doesn't use the RNZAF decal set please, PLEASE bear me in mind! That is so crazy I feel a need deep within to build it!

You forgot to mention that the Czechoslovak Police Air Force version is a creation of our own PantherG.
