This is for one of the GB's I swore off (Ain't it always the way? You swear off something & then some bugger comes along with the Ultimate Temptation?)

Anyway:

For the Post Apocalyptic GB over on BtS I've pulled a number of vehicles from the stash, unfortunately they're all left-hand drive (including the three Japanese vehicles), so initial work will probably be trying to convert most of them to right-hand drive.

This PA world will have fuel & survivors who know how to get it ... for now, anyway.

The LVT(A)-1A Crocodile build is going on hold, temporarily, until I get to the weathering stage of these vehicles, when I'll do all the weathering at once ... Makes sense to me, at least.

Extremely unlikely that I'll get all of these finished before the end of the GB but I'll have a crack at it & get at least one done. ;)

Let me know if you need any tips on doing a RHD conversion.

I can't see why the buggers can't do them with the option of left-hand or right-hand drive! :banghead:

Working on the bike, at the moment, it's a Honda XLR 250. ;)

That's a very valid question indeed, and one I'd like to ask the good men at TVR. I haven't seen one single Chimaera with controls adapted for European traffic..  :banghead:

So, the opposite of my issue but in 1:1 scale. ;)

Probably because they're aimed at 1/35th armour modellers who want them to build technicals
etc., GWOT and all that jazz, and the majority of the vehicles so used are left-hand drive export
models.

I suppose you could say that a RO-RO full of left-hookers was diverted to Oz because of the global
collapse.

My rifle:

Looks a bit like a modernish sporting rifle. Scope is a bit high but I'm not going to try & fix it ... again.

Looks better to the naked eye but that can be said of most of my builds, not very photogenic. ;)

Sliced, diced, puttied & pimped Dragon Kar98.

Hmmm, i've been fiddling with a scoped Kar98 (Tamiya) for my mounted recce trooper.
Yours looks better than mine.

Thanks, Fred!

Started with whittling down the stock, to shorten it & remove the upper furniture, finicky but not too difficult to do; then I used Tamiya white putty to bulk up the stock (slap it on, let it dry, sand/file it down) for a higher cheek-weld form, as per most sporting rifles; finally adding a Live Resin modern scope with some tiny slivers of styrene as the mount uprights (which I've trimmed off at least 3 times) & which ended up mostly consisting of CA glue.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
