Dont have a backstory yet, but already have a Flight 1 LA class hull modified and chopped down to fit. I'll be working on my Flight II LA along side to show size comparison. Didn't think I was going to enter this GB, but figured out a build and a use for my spare Flight 1 Hull and Flight III Sail, fins and towed arrays. Still debating on SSNR/SSKR or even reviving the SSR designation. She looks like a modernized Barbel class.

Pictures!

So, the first photo gives reference to my current dilemma. To go with mini sub or not, and to go with scopes or covered?

As it sits, the Tacoma, will use the covers.

So, chose to show her in her underway mode. She's practically done and awaiting paint. And I decided to name the boat after the father of Naval Intelligence, Lt. Bailey M. Mason.

So far, it is a slinky Sub. Very interested in the finish you choose

Well she's situated for littoral operations, and has a "reenforced keel" to handle rough seafloor landings.

Real life has gotten in the way, but should have her finished before the new deadline.

Mods, can we move this to "Warships and Ships" please?

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks Chris. Work stalled due to Actual Work interfering, and my kids, too, are a priority over completing projects.
