There is always the infamous Purple Sonia.

Why was she infamous, or dare you not tell us on such an august Forum as this?  ;) ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Xtracolor even did PRU Purple in their tinlets at one stage. I still have one, but never used it as yet.

Hataka do an RAF PR Units set which includes PR Pink, PR Blue, Camotint Green and Royal Blue, plus Medium Sea Grey and Interior Green.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

For what it's worth, ALL of the released PRU Pink paints are wrong, being way too pink.  It was really just an off white, with the barest of pink tinges. Best to mix your own - one bottle white with 5, perhaps 6, drops of a bright red.

There's no PRU Purple, it was PRU Mauve.  I've seen mention of the mix, but can't remember what it is other than PRU Blue.

I tried and TRIED to get that set over the lockdown to no avail. :(

My Mum insisted that Purple and Mauve were the same colour....................  ;)

I don't think they'll be at Telford this year either Kit. You could get it through their Website, but Lawd knows what HM Customs would do/charge ?

Cleared this today ready for transfers.
I also found the set that came with the kit.  They were tucked in between the lid and the lower box.
Have built the camera (simple shapes as not much will be visible apart from the lens) and will need to paint it along with the other fiddley bits.

The Wooksta!

Nice but I'd say the roundels are too bright.  The colours look to be post war whereas the PR machines had the wartime type Bs with a more dull Roundel Blue and Dull Red.

They are from the Special Hobby Hornet, so yes.  But they'll do.  Back story will be adjusted.

Not surprising, Special Hobby got those wrong. Most of the Hornets wearing those roundels were in wartime colours. We had stocks of paint to use an no money to buy new.

ISTR other comments from you regarding the veracity of the other markings on the sheet - the ones with the red chevrons.
