I got myself authorised to do the GPDR thing now, but even better, I got my old membership no. back!!!!!!! 

As I joined waaaaaay back I used to be no. 884, one of the Three Figure Brigade, but some bloody minded Mem Sec. years ago wouldn't let me keep it as I was a month late renewing, and I was abroad at the time!

So since then I've been 10385, but the current Mem Sec is a REALLY good guy and has re-instated me to no. 884 again!

Another addition to my shopping list - an Airfix Hunter FGA9, possibly two.  I have some resin wings taken from the Maintrack conversion which are intended for the Airfix kit, plus the Maintrack wings somewhere else.

FYI, the Telford International Centre has gone cash-less. All the food outlets and machines on site will only take card or contactless payment. They've taken out the cash machine inside too.
IPMS (UK) has no control or influence over this matter.

But several traders say they will be taking cash! 

On the plus side there will be no need for the Heavy Squad™ to do a bank run this year as nobody should be paying cash on the door. Whatever small amount the IPMS get from merchandise sales can go in the safe.

ill second the question though,  the IPMS site was a pain to read, and very unforthcoming on the subject.   
and it may be a major decider in the go / no go options.

Got mine through the the post last week. requested it via the link Nick posted up on this thread on the sunday, had it in my hands by the tuesday.

Took all of 4-5 mins to do on the Gov.uk site.

Also there's the option of having an electronic version on one's smartphone.
