Here in New Zealand we were quite limited in what we could use for painting models in the early days and in most ways we still are...we dont have a very large modeling community here so for years the only paint was Humbrol and then Tamiya and ive painted hundreds of cars..bikes.planes and tanks with those paints and brushes..then i got my first air brush.
Since i only build in 32nd..35th..and 16th scales an air brush is a god send cause theres no way i would want to paint my M1070 tank transporter with a brush or my 2S7 Pion for that matter.
Hell a few months ago i spent $85NZ on 9 brushes..hell that hurt but i needed really good and very small brushes.
Ya know ive never heard of Hataka paint and now i want to try it and it will be a overseas purchase as is most things here in the model world.
BNA hobbies in Aussie is my normal first port of call but with this bloody covid thing even they are having trouble with supplies..but oh well at some point things might return to normal.
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

and the Hataka stuff is BRILLIANT!

Told you so didn't I  ;)

And no, I'm not on commission  I was hoping they'd be at Telford again this year, but I don't  think they will be now.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
