I bought the 1/72 Revell C-160 Transall kit from Ebay, it seemed a good price at the time. My first thought was to build a four engined variant by getting another model but that's on hold at the moment.
Lockheed Martin came up with a concept maritime patrol aircraft based on the C-130J  know as the SC-130J. I don't think they have converted a C-130J or even built a mock up but there's some artwork and a scaled models.
I know where I can get a 'spares repair ' second C-160 from no engines,  glazing or landing gear.
So the plan is to stretch the fuselage both sides of the wings, lengthen the sponsors as these will be the weapons bay. The forward cargo door could be drilled to house the sonorbouy tubes and flare tubes.  The M.A.D. boom will be attached to the vertical tail fin.
Underwing pylons fitted with lumps and bumps.
