Ok it looks like im heading in a winter direction...a white washed US tank fighting the pirate guilds.
A badly white washed tank ive been wanting to do for ages so thank you Guy thats what im gonna do  :thumbsup:   :o ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Thank god the tracks are freakin finished...ill be priming this lot shortly .
My mind got to thinking when a was waiting for a part to dry id glued.
The M88 conversion im going to build with a crane instead off a A frame and then i thought of the M88 Hercules and then i thought i want one of those but theres no way i can afford the conversion for it ..its like $ 130 Aussie then i looked over at a model a bloody good mate of mine gave me..a Tamiya M1A2 Abrams..hmmmm
Time for a huge upgrade for the M88 ..M1 chassis..M88  upper hull and a hydraulic crane..yeah thats going to work  ;D

Allo boys ...well ive been playing with this thing and now its at the detail painting stage ..theres a pile of pics coming but i think you guys know that by now  ;D
The tracks are not on Lulubelle yet and yip im going to use Scooters idea of a name for this thing ,,Cheers Scooter mate ,,solved the name problem very well .
I've got a few hours work on the tracks as their just black at the mo and theres alot of mud and gunk to go on this at the moment very clean tank ..so heres all the pics guys .
You can see in the other pics of the turret its back is pretty sharp of a angle,,this was never going to stay like that as i needed to shape the rear of it before i could add the new section to the turret.

Now the painting part,,first 2 colours are on ,,,white to follow very shortly ,

Now its got a terrible white paint job,,faded badly over time and by the looks of it never put on the tank by the crew  well in the first place,

What a hideous beast! I love it! It looks like a real world version of a Warhammer 40K tank, with just a hint of Object 279.

But since its gonna be in US markings im guessing good guys ?
Frank funny you should mention 40K ..i was getting a similar vibe too ..the object 279 ( used to have one ) idea was reignited from Guy's 2 armed beast and considering the firepower upgrade this thing got it needed to be wider hence track set number 2  ;D .
Next is detail paint..then a coat of gloss varnish ..then pin washings and mud affects and then matt varnish to finish   <_<

LULUBELLE is one of a kind for damn sure..what kind?...no idea but its been a fun build .
I dont think trains are a problem cause umm ..(incert proper thought here ) ..well i figure the track gauge is much wider than it normally is  in our reality  ;D
And yeah i still have this 40K thing ..its like a messed up imperial guard tank ..its not as big as a Shadowsword or a Stormlord  but is kinda like a messed up leman russ demolisher or punisher .
There might be something like a hydra flak tank in the future tho  <_<
