The 2022 Scottish National Model Show will take place on 14-15 May 2022.

The previous dates (30th April/1st May) would have clashed with local elections.
Usual venue at the Dewar Centre in Perth.

Well I should make it there for the Saturday anyway.
Here's hoping.

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

Could visit the family on either the way up or back. Perth's a lovely city and the trip on the train from Edinburgh goes through some spectacular scenery. In the diary
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I'm going to try and attend this one.

I've never done the Scottish Nationals ever, so I may give it a try next year.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Well as it's a new year I have a full holiday entitlement at work so I have put in for and got the week before the show and the Monday after off. Just need to complete a model or two before hand to show something new for a change.

You also have an invite here in Prestwick, where we live about a quarter of a mile from what was, but still is but not quite as great as it was Falkland Junction.
Ye Gods Kit I have so many memories of being a Train Spotter in those days.

Jim, if Kit plans things right he could travell up one coast, go to the show, then down the other coast visiting whoever is on or near the relevant coast on his way up or down.

Well it sounds like a reasonable plan anyway.

You gotta get past the tartan curtain first kit lol. Ie north of the DMZ.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Have no fear, I still have my visa and other certification from my working days, when I was 'Up North' every other week.  ;)
