My plans have just been scuppered. On the weekend of the Nationals, I have to fill in for a friend who's come down with a medical issue.

Much sympathy, I know exactly how you feel. 

  I've hoped for the last five years to attend  any of whiffery events, but circumstances..........cancer,  temporary financial  problems, father in law's death, COVID, mother's death, mother in law's illness.......have made it impossible so far.  One of these days, however.........

No idea if those that are staying in Perth are able to set up the night before or get there early, I plan to get there before 9am as the doors open to the public at 10am. If you have Martin's number I suggest you contact him for better info.

Kit has just reported in via text message. HE like myself is north of the Tartan curtain.

The stand is set up ready for those attending to deposit their models. Ive claimed one corner for a Naval aviation mini theme between by self and a load of borrowed models from Geoff Baker.

Actually I was straight back into 'test driving' and 'MTS work' mode.

I just drove and drove, and actually felt OK when I got here. I was expecting to need a LONG snooze, but I didn't. I expect I'll sleep well tonight though.

Add on the M80, M9 and A9 to get you to the edge of Perth otherwise you end up at the edge of Edinburgh.
