Thanks  everybody for the appreciations of my silliness. <_<
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Approved Steps for Firing the Unnamed Mortar:

...
5) Pray the mortar doesn't misfire
6) Pray that, if there is a misfire, someone else is "volunteered" to check it
7) Pull string
Way back during my conscript days, we had an instructor who was famous for a number of things. One of them was firing a mortar from the hip.

A round didn't go, and he decided to handle it. And then it went. My recollection of the story is that it was an 81 mm. Recently he was mentioned in an internet discussion and others maintained that I was underestimating him, and it was a 120 mm. He was certainly strong enough to lift a 120 mm tube by himself.

You wouldn't want to be the smallest member of the crew if it did misfire. Likely get sent down the barrel in order to put a rope around the round so it could be pulled out

Somewhere I've actually read of this happening, but can't remember where, when or on/in what ?

Sorry I should of also said, I like it  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
