Has anyone else put models or supplies on their letters to Santa?

For me it's some stocking stuffer supplies like #11 blades, tape, and micro-sol and for a "biggie" present the new Tamiya 1/48 F-4B. Also on the list is the Warbird Tech book on the Vulcan.

We'll see how generous Father Christmas is.  But as "she" started a new position early in the year with an almost 100% pay raise I'm optimistic.

My blood family are all 12,000 miles away in the UK so I create a list of books, models, tools etc with links to the appropriate local website so they can order and only have to pay local postage.
Or, if they want to surprise me they have already been pointed in the right direction.

To my family here, if they ask I say "just buy me models.  Don't worry about if I have one already as I can always make it differently".

Same here.  I get the standard "what about that pile in the garage?" reply.  If it's really important to me and they're struggling find items,  I might just be able to sneak it in.

I usually put books on the list, no different this year:

I think we all get that. The trick is to give them no other options...
